Makayla

Meet Junior Nurse Makayla, she has been at Sylvania since 2018. Makayla has a big passion for animals in particular birds and rabbits and strives to always provide optimal care. She is currently studying an Animal Veterinary Bioscience double degree, with Honours in Phage Therapy with the most common Staph infection in dogs. Makayla hopes to continue her studies in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to one day become a Vet to continue to provide wonderful care for all animals.

Makayla is a proud pet mum of her budgie Ivy, galah Ava, lorikeets (Lorrie, Lauretta, Luca and Luna), many cockatiels and two rabbits, Frankie and Leo.”
